College of the Canyons is a public community college in Santa Clarita, California. It comprises the Santa Clarita Community College District. The college is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and has campus locations in Valencia and Canyon Country. At College of the Canyons you can choose from 96 associate degree programs in everything from Animation to Welding, as well as 160 programs that lead to workforce training certificates. We offer 31 associate degrees for transfer, also known as ADTs, which help you transition seamlessly to a California State University (CSU) or University of California (UC) campus. For three years running, College of the Canyons has been named a “Champion of Higher Education” for significantly increasing the number of students earning Associate Degrees for Transfer.

Counselors will help you plan your path to achieving your goals, while offices dedicated to veterans, international students, and those with disabilities, plus a tutoring center, career office, and health center, provide you with the support and confidence needed to stay on track. We are here to keep you motivated. Most recently, we were recognized as one of “America’s Best Colleges for Student Voting” by the Washington Monthly Magazine and we ranked No. 17 and 35 in the Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine for enrolling the largest number of Hispanic students and granting the most degrees respectively.
